Welcome to Jorge's Retro Mac. This guide describes the rules and controls for each game available on this Macintosh.
Desktop navigation: Arrow keys to move between icons, Tab to cycle, Enter/Space to open. All games support Tab to cycle between buttons and Space/Enter to confirm.
World Cup Mode: Starting in 2027. 24 nations in 6 pools of 4. Top 2 + best 4 third-place teams qualify for the knockout stage. 8 possessions per team.
Arcade Mode: Pick a tier 4 underdog and fight through 8 rounds of increasingly tough opponents. One loss and you're out. Total match points become your high score.
Gameplay: 5 players across 5 lanes. Pass up/down to dodge defenders. Only the ball carrier can be tackled. 3 tackles = turnover. Passing beyond the sidelines = out of bounds turnover.
Keyboard: Up/Down = pass -- Right = dive -- Space = drop kick -- P = pause -- Escape = back -- Tab = cycle buttons -- Enter/Space = confirm.
Touch: Swipe up/down = pass -- Swipe right = dive -- Swipe left = drop kick. 1/2 or tap player = swap team colors on match intro.
Dive: Lunge forward ~5m. Useful near the try line. If tackled mid-dive, no meter loss. If you don't score, the dive costs a tackle.
Scoring: Try = 5 pts + conversion. Conversion: 90% middle, 65% inner, 35% outer lanes. Drop kick = 3 pts (50m+ range, success depends on distance and lane). CPU can also score tries and drop kicks.
Match clock: 80-minute game clock advances with each possession. Defenders get faster as the match progresses.
Difficulty: Scales with opponent strength — stronger teams spawn more defenders, faster, with double spawns.
Kits: Tap a team's kit or press 1/2 on the pre-match screen to swap colors. Color clashes are auto-detected.
Champions: Each tournament winner is recorded. View past champions from the title screen. Tournament years start at 2027 and advance by 4. Reset history from the Game menu.
Sound: Music can be toggled on/off from the Game menu, the title screen button, or by pressing S.
Button football World Cup tournament. Flick your discs to hit the ball into the opponent's goal. 50+ national teams with realistic FIFA-style draw and confederation quotas.
Controls: Click a disc to select, drag to aim and set power, release to flick. Keyboard: 1-3 to select disc, arrow keys to aim, Space to flick. Tab = cycle buttons.
Match: 10 turns per team (semi finals 15, final 20). Score the most goals. Group stage allows draws (1 pt). Knockout goes to sudden death.
Tournament: 32 teams in 8 groups. Top 2 advance to Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, Final.
You + Partner vs two CPU opponents. First team to 100 points wins.
Rules: Double-six set, 7 tiles each. Highest double starts. Play a tile matching an open end of the chain. Pass if you can't play.
Scoring: Winning team scores the losing team's remaining pips. If blocked, team with fewer pips wins and scores the opponent's total pips.
Controls: Click a tile to select, click an end of the chain to place it. Keys 1-7 to select tiles. T to toggle tips.
Get Help: Click "Get Help" to see strategy tips: suggested moves with explanations, opponent/partner tracking, tile counting, and alternative comparisons.
Fly through caves collecting coins and avoiding obstacles. Hold Space or tap to thrust upward. Release to fall. Collect coins for points and survive as long as you can.
Controls: Space / Click / Tap = thrust -- P = pause -- K = self-destruct
32-player tennis tournament with current ATP players. Choose from Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, or US Open. Pong-style rallies with real tennis scoring.
Scoring: Each point won = 1 game. First to 6 games wins a set (tiebreak at 6-6). Best of 5 sets.
Controls: Mouse/touch to move paddle, Left/Right arrow keys. Space to serve. P to pause. Tab = cycle buttons. Space/Enter = primary button.
Difficulty: Paddle size and ball speed scale with player strength. Stronger servers hit aces. Tiered seeding randomizes each draw.
Flags: Each player's country is shown with a pixel flag throughout the tournament.
Slide numbered tiles on a 4x4 grid. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into one tile with double the value. Reach 2048 to win, or keep going for a higher score. Best score is saved.
Controls: Arrow keys / Swipe = slide tiles
Arrange falling blocks to complete horizontal lines. Completed lines are cleared and score points. The game speeds up as you progress. Game ends when blocks stack to the top. Best score is saved.
Controls: Left/Right = move -- Up = rotate -- Down = soft drop -- Space = hard drop
Classic Klondike solitaire. Build four foundation piles from Ace to King, sorted by suit. On the tableau, stack cards in descending order with alternating colors.
Controls: Click / Tap = move cards -- Click stock = draw -- Z = undo
Modes: Draw 1 or Draw 3. Standard or Vegas scoring. Vegas balance is cumulative across games and saved.
Try to beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 as possible without going over. Number cards are face value, face cards are 10, and Aces count as 1 or 11. Default bet is $25.
Actions: Hit = draw a card -- Stand = keep your hand -- Double Down = double your bet, draw one card

Five-card draw poker against the machine. You are dealt five cards. Select which cards to hold, then draw replacements. Payouts depend on the final hand.
Winning hands: Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Jacks or Better.
Controls: 1-5 = toggle hold -- B = bet 1 -- M = bet max -- Space/Enter = deal/draw -- H or ? = help reference -- Tab = cycle buttons
Tip: Always bet max (5 credits) for the best Royal Flush payout. Click "Help" for a visual reference of all winning hands.
Classic 9x9 Sudoku puzzle. Fill the grid so every row, column, and 3x3 box contains the digits 1-9 exactly once.
Difficulty: Easy (35 clues), Medium (28 clues), Hard (22 clues).
Controls: Click a cell, then press 1-9 or use the number buttons below. 0/Backspace/Delete to clear. P to toggle pencil mode for notes.
Features: Conflict highlighting in red, same-number highlighting, timer, pencil marks, best time per difficulty saved.
